Mental health and suicide prevention have become bigger topics of concern in recent years. Shelly Braley is organizing a trip to help raise funds for suicide prevention. Shelly spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the trip. 

“The trip is to Colorado to see the Garden of the Gods, The Royal Gorge, Colorado Springs to see the U.S. Air Force Academy, Pikes Peak, and the U.S Olympic and Paralympic Museum. It is a 7-day trip and the cost is $839. The trip is from October 9-October 15.”

All proceeds from the trip go to the Iowa Chapter of the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention.
