Central College’s Kaurie Kincaid, a sophomore from Knoxville, fired a season-low 77 to take a share of the Iowa Conference women’s golf lead Friday. The Dutch also turned in a season-low team score of 336 and are in second place, 14 strokes behind behind defending champion Wartburg. Kincaid is part of a three way tie for first with Wartburg’s Jordan Galles and Kelsi Sawatsky. The second round of the 72-hole tourney will be played at Pheasant Ridge Saturday, with the final 36 holes next Friday and Saturday at Centennial Oaks Golf Course in Waverly.
