The Pella School Board held their second regular meeting of the summer following the groundbreaking ceremony at Madison Elementary Thursday. The board held a work session to discuss potential plans for the main facilities projects attached to the November 2021 bond issue. As part of the presentation by Neumann Monson, updates about the overall timeline for all upcoming projects and the overall budget were given. The board approved two change orders for ongoing projects at the football stadium for turf and for HVAC upgrades at Pella High School. Additionally, the board approved their meeting calendar for the upcoming academic year, and regular business will continue to be conducted generally on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 4:30 p.m., not including any additional special meetings and holiday breaks.
