The Warhawks of SE Warren have advanced to the class 1A state softball championship after defeating #1 North Linn 7-2 Wednesday evening. The Warhawks fell behind early 1-0, but scored three runs in the second to take the lead and did not look back. SE Warren will now play Twin Cedars in the championship game, a rematch from late June where the Warhawks won a nail biter 4-3. The game will be broadcast live on our sister station 92.1 KRLS, with Derek Cardwell on the play-by-play. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30.
