This week Pella Christian softball’s Emri Agre and Natalie Harrill were named to the Iowa Girls Coaches Association Class 2A Southeast All-District team.

The junior Agre finished the season with 108 total bases which led all of Class 2A and was tied for ninth in the entire state. Emri was tied for the most triples in 2A with nine on the season. Additionally in 2A, the junior was second in batting average (.573) and hits (59), tied for fourth in slugging percentage (1.049), and fifth in on base percentage (.614). 

Agre and Harrill combined for 12 home runs, with both girls hitting six home runs apiece to tie for the team high this season.

Recent graduate Natalie Harrill highlighted a fantastic season and career for the Eagles by becoming the all-time home run leader in Pella Christian history with 21. Harrill was tied for the least number of strikeouts in the Little Hawkeye Conference with just three on the season, while leading the Eagles in RBIs with 30. Harrill was also selected to play for the Blue Team in the 2022 High School All-Star Games at Waukee High School this Saturday. Natalie’s first game with the Blue Team is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., with the second game expected to begin around 8 p.m.

The Eagles finished the season with 10-22 record overall.
