Mayor Don DeWaard is joining the Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance at their quarterly meeting to discuss what’s happening in the community. Executive Director Karen Eischen says the meeting will be held on Friday, July 29th at 7 a.m. in the Pella Opera House. Eischen says a more targeted presentation will be given about the mayor in regards to the future of a proposed indoor recreation facility and other associated projects tied to the upcoming September 13th referendum to extend the current Local Option Sales and Service Tax.
