At Tuesday’s Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting, Marion County Sheriff Jason Sandholdt reported that $357,000 in revenue was brought in for the fiscal year.

Revenue numbers were up considerably over the previous year which saw revenue of $160,000. The numbers were up because the jail is now housing inmates from both Polk and Warren counties.

Sandholdt says revenue numbers are expected to drop next year as Warren County has a new facility and will be housing its own inmates.
