The Knoxville High School Athletic Hall of Fame released the names of the Class of 2022 inductees. 

Joe Cunningham, Chairman of the Knoxville Athletic Hall of Fame tells KNIA-KRLS News who the inductees are: “Excited to announce this year’s inductees into the Hall of Fame. We have four people going in this year. It’s always a great event for our community and our school. The inductees are Brian Brooks an all-state football player from the Class of 1994. We have Greg Dye who was an all-state track and cross country athlete from the Class of 1996. Kaylee Modlin an excellent basketball player from the Class of 2002. Then we have Perry Bell who is from the the Class of 1976. Perry was a great athlete at Knoxville in the mid-70s, then his contributions to Knoxville athletics as a sports reporter since then. He’s been a real champion of Knoxville Sports. He is our fourth individual going in this year.”

Hall of Fame inductions will take place this year on December 16. The Hall of Fame has been in existence since 2005.
