The West Central Conference recently announced their all-conference baseball and softball teams and a total of seven athletes from Pleasantville were honored.

For baseball, senior Jake De Joode was a first team selection as a utility player. As a hitter, De Joode was tied for Pleasantville’s second highest batting average with a .342 and led the team in doubles with 12. De Joode was also the Trojans’ top pitcher, recording a team high 42 innings pitched with a remarkable 0.83 ERA. Senior Trevor Daggett was a second-team infield selection after leading Pleasantville in batting average with a .359 and RBIs with 36. Junior Jonah Schumacher and sophomore Dylan Aldrich both earned honorable mention status. Schumacher was the Trojans leader in singles (21), while Aldrich was third on the team for on base percentage and slugging percentage (Both were a .436).

For the Trojans Softball team, senior catcher Malorie McKinney was first team all-West Central Conference. McKinney led the Trojans in batting average (.430), on base percentage (.500), slugging percentage (0.733), hits (37), home runs (5), and RBIs (28). Additionally, senior Riley Thill and junior Sydney Septer were also recognized as honorable mentions. Thill was the team leader in walks this season with 20, and Septer was the top run scorer with 26 this season.
