The Indianola City Council approved another step in the Hillcrest/Downtown Unified Urban Renewal Plan at their meeting Monday, taking further steps to add infrastructure to the city’s industrial park. City Manager Ben Reeves tells KNIA News the council and city staff have made a priority to invest in helping to grow our local employers.

“This is a great opportunity for us to work with our business leaders and with the community in general to bring more infrastructure in general out to our industrial park, hopefully investing in the creation of jobs and the expansion of businesses in that area. This is another step to help put forward the plan and help finance the plan moving forward.”
