The Indianola Chamber of Commerce held a seminar Tuesday morning with the CFO of Cementech Josh Maurer regarding strategies to grow businesses. Maurer tells KNIA News the seminar was based around a book using the Employee Operating System, to drive accountability and growth in his business.
“The major components are vision, traction, people, and issues. People can get more information in the book called Traction: Get a Grip on Your Business. It has helped CemenTech communicate our vision to every employee in the company so they know what their day-to-day is doing to achieve the vision of CemenTech. It has driven higher employee retention levels, driven higher sales per employee, and allowed us to actually key in on the goals that we’ve accomplished over the last six-seven years.”
The seminar was held at the Peoples Bank Administration Building.
