The Simpson College women’s tennis team was voted seventh in the American Rivers Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll, as announced by the conference office.
The Storm bring back the majority of their squad from their fifth-place finish from 2021, but lose their top two performers in Anna Wanek and Emily King. Expected to step into the top ranks include senior Donni Kinghorn, sophomore Bella Tranquilino, and senior Kennedi Wright.
Defending conference champions Luther were voted first, garnering eight of nine first-place votes for a total of 64 points. Coe received the other first-place vote, coming in second with 57 points.
