The Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad fell in three sets to Mormon Trail 25-16 25-ten, and 25-18. The Saints were short handed and Coach Jesyka Nolte told KNIA Sports the line up was off and so were the girls. Nolte adds she does not want her team to look past anyone this season.

Nolte: “I tell the girls, never underestimate your opponents, and to be scrappy and play as hard as possible. I hope we can double our wins, but I don’t know we’re still young, but I’m not using that as an excuse this year.”

Gabby Overgaard had seven kills with Summer Karpan going 9/9 serving and Brooklyn Metz had 13 digs. Melcher-Dallas is 1-1 on the season and will be in action on Tuesday at Moravia.
