The Pleasantville cross country teams have their second meet of the fall today, as they hit the road to run at Wayne. The Trojans began the season back on August 22nd with the Knoxville Early Bird meet at Pine Knolls Country Club. The boys team brought home a fourth-place finish from that meet, while the girls came in fifth. Entering today’s meet at Wayne, Trojans head coach Aaron Fichter says the course will provide a good challenge for his team.

“Wayne has a nice variety of different surfaces for the race. A nice challenging hill in the middle of the course and you know, and I just think it provides some challenges that we don’t see early on the season.”

The Wayne Cross Country Invitational today begins at 5:30 p.m.
