The Pleasantville cross country teams are back in action this evening, traveling down south to Leon for the Central Decatur XC Invitational.

Tonight’s meet marks the third event of the 2022 season for the Trojans boys and girls cross country squads. The boys team came in fourth at the Knoxville Early Bird Invitational to begin the season, and most recently came in ninth at the Wayne Invitational. Meanwhile the girls squad was fifth in the Knoxville Early Bird Invitational and seventh in the Wayne Invitational.

Pleasantville will look to improve on those finishes today at the Leon Golf & Country Club, with the first race beginning at 5 p.m.
