The City of Indianola was able to maintain their “AA” credit rating through Moody’s, the highest the city a size of Indianola can receive. City Manager Ben Reeves tells KNIA News it shows the city finances are in good order, and shows that the city still has the ability to be flexible for future projects.

“It’s good to see the good financial position the city is in overall, we were able to maintain our AA credit rating with Moody’s, and that shows that we are fiscally responsible. By investing in our infrastructure we can see more jobs and greater growth in the residential and commercial base.”
