Indianola Parks and Recreation is hosting a Special Friends Dance in October at the Indianola Activity Center, the Special Friends Fall Hoe Down. Kathy Kester with Indianola parks and rec tells KNIA News individuals of all ages with special needs and their families, chaperones, respite providers, or SCL workers are all invited to attend. The party will include a DJ, dancing, door prizes, and dessert, all free thanks to local sponsors. Find more information below.
