The Simpson College men’s and women’s soccer teams shut out Buena Vista Wednesday, with both teams having stellar offensive days in their 6-0 and 7-0 wins respectively.

The Storm men got three goals in the first half from Baraka Ellie, Matt Hasken, and Espoire Nkomezi, then three more in the second half from Ricardo Ibarra, Jackson Mears, and Ethan Larbi as the defense only allowed two shots on goal.

The Storm women were more dominant, going up 2-0 in the first half with a brace from Cassie Nash, then continued to pile it on in the second half with scores from Julia Wagoner, Brissa Valadez, Emma Smallcomb, Megan Roberts, and Sky Delzell.

The men improve to 9-2 overall and 2-0-1 in conference play, the women to 5-4-1 and 2-1, and both teams will play tomorrow hosting Loras.
