Looking to start a winning streak, the Knoxville Football Squad will host Atlantic for the final home game of the season. Panthers Coach Matt Dunkin knows how special senior night is and wants his seniors to be aware, take it all in, but be focused at the same time on the task at hand.

Dunkin: “Just making sure our seniors understand the time is running out for games to play with their best friends in high school football, and looking to get them out of Ken Locke with a W.”

The Panthers will look to win two in a row for the first time since the 2019 season. For the Panthers to accomplish that feat, they need to slow down the Atlantic offensive attack. The Trojans like to run the ball, but they may like to throw the ball even more, racking up over 1100 yards through the air this season and boasting of class 3A’s #3 rated receiver in Colton Rasmussen, who has 486 yards on 26 receptions. Dunkin says he has confidence that the defense can slow down the Trojans attack and still maintain their own attack; they got energized with a win over Saydel last Friday. Live coverage can be heard on 95.3 KNIA starting at 6:30 with the kick off at 7:30.
