The Melcher-Dallas Football Squad is looking for a third straight win this week as the Saints host Grandview Christian. Last season the Saints lost a slog of a game in one of the lowest scoring games in eight-man football, 7-0. Like most eight-man teams, there is one player that has to be stopped for the other team to be successful. Coach Pat Ferguson tells KNIA Sports that the player for Grandview Christian is quarterback Noah John.
Ferguson: “We have to go into a game plan to stop him this week, the only problem is we don’t have Cole Metz to chase him down, and we may not have Max Enfield this week. But my kids are fighting and we’ll hope for the best.”
The shorthanded Saints will try to stop a player that has almost 1500 yards himself for the Thunder. Both teams are 3-3 on the season. Kick off is set for 7:00.
