Pella swimmer Maylei Ruggles was key in the NCMP Aquagirls’ victory over Des Moines Lincoln Thursday. Ruggles won in the 100 yard butterfly (1:06.25) and was part of the victorious 400 yard freestyle relay (59.61 split on a 3:52.3) to bolster the team, and also was on a 2nd place 200 yard medley relay (26.01 split on 1:57.5 relay) and 4th in the 100 yard backstroke. Emily Vander Molen was a part of four JV victories (400 yard freestyle relay, 200 yard medley relay, 200 yard individual medley, and 100 yard backstroke) and Ellie Wogen joined Vander Molen on the 200 yard medley relay for a victory and was behind her teammate in the 200 yard individual medley.
