In a field with four ranked teams from Class 1A to 5A, the Pella volleyball team proved to be the best in their own gym on Saturday, going 5-0 to win their home invitational.

Pella defeated #9 in 4A Bondurant-Farrar (21-14, 21-12), #13 in 4A Knoxville (16-21, 21-19, 15-6), #9 in 5A Valley (22-20, 21-16), #10 in 1A Holy Trinity (19-21, 21-14, 15-11), and Mediapolis (21-11, 21-23, 15-5).

Mia Warner produced 54 kills over the five matches with a .326 efficiency rate on the day and Katie Scheckel had 10 service aces to go along with her 113 assists.

The Dutch improve to 16-9 overall and head to #5 in 4A Indianola Tuesday for the Little Hawkeye Conference regular season finale.
