The NCMP Aquagirls defeated Boone and Grinnell Tuesday ahead of the postseason beginning.

Pella senior Maylei Ruggles won the 50 yard freestyle (26.61), took 3rd in the 100 yard fly (1:05.96), and was part of the 200 Yard Medley Relay that placed 1st (29.17 split on 1:58.26 relay) and the 3rd place 400 yard freestyle relay (58.78 split on 4:01.19 relay).

Dutch freshman Evelyn Munk was also on the 400 freestyle relay with Ruggles (1:00.22 split), and placed 2nd in the 200 yard freestyle (2:13.7) and on the 4th place 200 yard freestyle relay (27.72 split on 1:55.64 relay).

Emily Vandermolen won the JV 500 freestyle relay (6:37.87) and was part of two victorious JV relays as well. Ellie Wogen was 2nd in the JV 100 yard breaststroke race (1:33.31) and part of a winning 200 yard freestyle JV relay (32.44 split on 2:09.31 race).

The NCMP Aquagirls improved to 12-1 on the season and begin the postseason with one of two conference meets in Decorah on Saturday, before next Tuesday’s Little Hawkeye Conference meet at Indianola.
