The Pella High School Ag Leadership class recently held a breakfast for the City of Pella employees. The class served a smoked egg bake, bacon, waffles, and a variety of drinks, preparing 40 total meals– with anything that was left over was brought to the Pella Police Station. In preparation for this event, each student took turns leading a discussion to determine the menu and grocery list. The class came up with a plan and assigned tasks to make the morning of the breakfast go smoothly, and the day before the event, they prepared the food , which included chopping up the peppers and cracking the eggs during class.
