The Marion County Feed the Farmer event was held October 8th. That was the day when meals were delivered to Farmers in the Field.

This was the third year for the program and it was very successful according to Ashtin Wells, who is with the Marion County Extension Office in Knoxville,

Feed the Farmer is a joint effort between 4H and FFA. Wells tells KNIA/KRLS News that over 200 meals were served this year. According to Wells, the event has grown in popularity each of the past two years. The Marion County Cattleman’s Association helped with the hamburgers that were served.
