The NASCAR race Sunday at Martinsville, Virginia was the final cut to making the round of the final four for the 2022 playoffs. The top three finishes in the Martinsville race all had connections to the Knoxville Raceway and Sprint Car Racing.
Christopher Bell won the NASCAR race Sunday at Martinsville to lock himself into the final four for the final races of the season. Kyle Larson finished in second place and Ryan Blaney was third at Martinsville.
Bell is from Oklahoma, and has raced a sprint car at Knoxville. Larson has raced the Knoxville dirt and is a past Nationals Champion. Ryan Blaney raced sprinters and his father, Dave Blaney, is a past Nationals Champion.
Along with Bell, the rest of the final four locked in to chasing a NASCAR Championship this year are Joey Logano, Ross Chastain and Chase Elliott.
