Victory Christian Academy in Indianola is holding their annual Veterans Day Service next Friday, with a program including students folding of the flag, the Pledge of Allegiance, honoring veterans with Quilts of Valor, and patriotic songs. VCA Administrator Dr. Sandra Dop tells KNIA News the program is something the kids look forward to all year long.
“They enjoy this program so much, and look forward to it so much. I actually have alumni come back and tell me this is one of their favorite events, because it means we get to honor the people who give them the freedom that we have.”
Victory Christian Academy is inviting all veterans and their spouses for a free breakfast from HyVee, with the event at Indianola Community Church from 7-10am on Friday, November 11th. The program begins at 8:30am.
