Chicago will be the Spring Musical for the Knoxville High School. The musical will be under the direction of Heidi Feldman and it will be held in early March at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center. Chicago is a Tony Award winning musical that is one of the longest running musicals on Broadway.
Feldman tells KNIA/KRLS News about the show, “I think it’s just going to be a really excellent showcase for the kids that we have. The reason I selected the show was I have a powerhouse group of leaders.”
Auditions were held November 1 and the cast list was announced the next morning. Feldman said there are around 50 Knoxville students who are in the musical, some are working behind the scenes. The musical has lightness and is funny and there is some drama and some iconic music and dancing according to Feldman.
