Indianola and area residents can honor those who are serving or have served in the nation’s armed forces for Veterans Day tomorrow.

The Indianola American Legion is holding a service and flag raising ceremony beginning at 11am in the IOOF Cemetery.

Victory Christian Academy in Indianola is holding their annual Veterans Day Service, with a program including students folding of the flag, the Pledge of Allegiance, honoring veterans with Quilts of Valor, and patriotic songs.

Victory Christian Academy is inviting all veterans and their spouses for a free breakfast from the Indianola HyVee, with the event at Indianola Community Church from 7-10am, and the program begins at 8:30am.

The Indianola HyVee is also serving a breakfast at their location from 6am to 11am.

For those in the community of Hartford, the Hartford Betterment Community is welcoming all veterans tomorrow evening for a free raffle event, involving donations such as a metal or wooden flag, and gift cards from local businesses. The free raffle event is from 6-9pm at the Hartford Sportsmen’s Club.
