The Norwalk girls wrestling team opened its first season of competition Thursday night as 12 Warriors took part in the Ballard Scramble.

Sixteen teams participated in the meet but no team scores were kept. Norwalk ranked third in the field with 13 wins by fall.

Warrior wrestlers placing first on the night with two pins each included Kamryn McWilliams, Olivia Krizler, Macie Silvius and Alysse Ivanovich.

Norwalk will return to action Saturday for the Nevada Tournament at 9:00 a.m.
