Katie Truetken, a triathlete, has recently been hired by the Knoxville Recreation Center as one of three coaches for the Knoxville Swim Team, a group of six to 18-year-old boys and girls for the season. Truetken is following in the footsteps of her mother, who was a former swim coach at the Knoxville Recreation Center.

Knoxville Recreation DIrector Brandon Nemmers confirmed the hirings for the team as Truetken, Josh Kiskamp and Chloe Williamson. The first meet for the team will be in mid-December.
