Dogs at the Marion County Humane Society were treated to a Thanksgiving Dinner Friday. Pawz-itively Spoiled, owned by Wendy Smith, served a Thanksgiving dinner of roasted turkey, mashed sweet potatoes topped with whipped cream, and steamed green beans. The dogs received a slice of Pawz-itively Spoiled’s signature blueberry pie or pumpkin cheesecake for desert. All food was dog friendly and healthy.
Rhonda Douglas, a board member at the Humane Society tells KNIA/KRLS News about the event, “Pawz-itively Spoiled Dog Bakery was donating a dog safe Thanksgiving Dinner for all of the Marion County Humane Society Dogs if we raised $500.”
The Marion County community was challenged to raise $500 from November 13th to November 22nd and Pawz-itively Spoiled would provide a Thanksgiving dinner for every dog at the shelter. The goal was met and the meal happened Friday.
