For the second year in a row, the Central College Dance Team swept all three categories of the Division II/III competitors at the Iowa State Dance and Drill Team Association competition held at Wells Fargo Arena Wednesday.

Central College earned first place in pom, hip hop, and jazz — earning the Judge’s Choice Award in the final category as well. Central swept all three categories in 2021, and have collected several first place trophies at the state dance event over the past decade.

High school dancers from across the state are continuing to compete through Friday evening.
