Indianola High School band students tried out for the South Central Iowa Band Association Honor Band over the weekend, with nine students selected. The students are:

Lizzy Orey 12th grade – Flute 1
Darian Konrad 12th grade – Clarinet 1
Jakob Kjellberg 11th grade – Tenor Sax
Sam Burns 11th grade – Trumpet 2
Noah Kjellberg 9th grade – Horn 2
Carly Schettler 11th grade – Horn 2
Isabel Christensen 12th grade – Euphonium
Ryan Rosales Eide 11th grade – Tuba
Jack Howard 11th grade – Percussion

The nine students selected is the most students selected in the past decade for Indianola High School. The SCIBA Honor Band Concert is Saturday, January 7 at 5:00 PM at Ankeny HS.
