The 2022 Warren County Leadership Class from Warren County Economic Development is continuing fundraising for their class project, replacing the Warren County Fairgrounds playground. Class member Josh Wilson tells KNIA News the playground is outdated and not maintained as well as a playground needs to be, and there is a need in the community for the new setup.

“What we noticed was the playground that exists now is really close to the road. The wood is old, has not been treated for awhile, and the slide is in disrepair, things of that nature. We want to fundraise to move the playground away from the road, and give it some new equipment, we think it will be something for families to enjoy in the future.”
