There are several things to consider during winter when it comes to dealing with the weather and taking care of your vehicle. 

Terry Gholson, Fixed Operations Manager at DeYarman Automotive in Knoxville tells KNIA/KRLS News, make sure there is plenty of gas in the vehicle in case you get stranded. It’s also important to have good tires and a strong battery.

Gholson tells KNIA/KRLS about the car battery when we get deeper into winter, “So, I would definitely get them tested before winter really hits. If you have some issues get them tested anyway to make sure you are good. Always a good idea is to get a triple-charger to hook up to maintain a battery.”

If people need help with the tire pressure, Gholson said they can stop in to have the tire pressure set properly.
