The City of Indianola allows for use of public sidewalks to adjoining businesses located within the Downtown Square, limited to temporary sidewalk signs, tables, chairs, and displays associated with the adjoining business.
Community and Economic Development Director Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News in order to use the sidewalks for those purposes, a sidewalk use agreement application needs to be filled out and submitted via email or dropped off at city hall, and the city asks to allow for approximately 45 days for final approval.
