The Pella School Board will review the 2023-24 academic calendar at their meeting today. The board will consider a proposal from administration that builds out a total of 1090.5 hours, with classes starting on August 23rd and the first semester finishing by winter break. New business on the agenda includes an update about the Early Childhood Center from DCI Construction, the annual drivers education contract with Street Smarts, and a high school golf agreement with the City of Pella at Bos Landen.

During an exempt session, the board will discuss teacher salary negotiations.
