As they enter postseason play on Friday, the Indianola basketball team will look to maintain their efficient shooting statistics from the regular season. The Indians shot over 50% on field goals this year at 50.3%, and were sixth in class 4A from long range as they shot 37.2% from three-point range. Head coach Jeff Ebling says when his squad executes their offense they are a tough team to beat, and the Little Hawkeye Conference night-in and night-out prepared them for postseason play.
The Indians will host the substate semifinal game Friday evening at Indianola High School, and with a win would find themselves one game away from the class 4A state tournament.
