The Indianola Police Department, in addition to agents and technicians from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, have determined the two suspicious deaths in Indianola found last weekend was a murder/suicide.

The victim is identified as 59-year-old Sheila Ann Kelley, who was in a domestic relationship with 56-year-old Jack Gordon Heiss Jr., who was found with a fatal, self-inflicted injury at the scene. The Indianola Police Department found the bodies after forcing their way inside the apartment in the process of conducting a welfare check at 1313 E Iowa Avenue on February 17th.
