The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in special session Tuesday with Congresswoman Marianette Miller-Meeks and staff to discuss federal funding for local projects, past and future.

Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian thanked the Congresswoman for supporting approximately $2 million in funding for the G-28 project. Miller-Meeks voted against the omnibus spending bill but included the G-28 project in a list of ten earmarked projects for her district.

The Supervisors made a presentation to the Congresswoman focused on county developments, specifically housing, among other efforts they are making to grow the county.
