Several area students have advanced to the Iowa High School Speech Association State Contest this Saturday in Eldridge.

From Pella High School, 31 students advanced 40 total entries to the next round with Division I Superior scores. Click here to see a list of those qualifying students.

Knoxville had two state qualifiers: Emily Humeston and Kylie Moore qualified for State in Acting, Interpretive Reading Poetry, and Storytelling.
