The Iowa Department of Transportation reports that area roadways are completely snow covered and slick. Ramps are in varied conditions, and bridges may be icy. There are numerous reports of vehicles in ditches. Towing is not recommended in Jasper and Polk counties.

Snow plows are in operation.
