From now until August, a transition in leadership is taking place with Pella Historical Museums. Jessi Vos has been announced as the new Executive Director of the non-profit organization, effective in August of this year, after current Director Valerie Van Kooten announced her retirement in 2022. Both are excited for new opportunities — for Vos, it’s getting the chance to lead an organization that’s been a big part of her life, and for Van Kooten, she’ll get to impact other non-profit organizations through grant writing. Pella Historical Museums are set to reopen on Monday, March 20th, first with the Historical Village.
