Warren County Conservation is hosting a nature and forest therapy guided walk later this month, a three-hour walk through the parks near Middleswart Lodge. Naturalist Kelsey Longnecker tells KNIA News a guide with the Association of Nature And Forest Therapy will lead a nature exploration walk, and is a chance to unplug, slow down, and experience mindfulness in nature. The walk is based on Shinrin-Yoku or forest therapy, and can provide health benefits such as lowered blood pressure, decreased anxiety, increased focus, relaxation, and a connection with nature. The walk will be on March 25th from 8-11am, and Warren County Conservation asks that attendees wear appropriate clothing. For more information, click below.
