The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session Tuesday at 9 a.m.

The board will hear a legislative update from Kelly Meyers, Skinner & Paschke, PLLC. They will look at approving a resolution on Lively as Marion County’s Administrator for Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts. The board will discuss setting a date for the Proposed FY24 Marion County Budget Public Hearing on April 11, 2023 

Also on the agenda is a resolution to approve Congresswoman Miller-Meeks FY24 Community Project Fund Application Endorsement. The board will look to award a Contract for resurfacing with Milling on County Road G71. The board will discuss Traffic Safety Improvement Program Funding Agreement for G76 as well as a Traffic Safety Improvement Program Funding Agreement for T15.

They will discuss FY23-FY27 Construction Five Year Program Amendment and discuss a Proposed Employee Training Exercise and Courthouse Closure April 4. The board will discuss a Parking Agreement Between Marion County and Marion County Fair Association. They will hear a plan for the Expansion of KLN Entertainment LLC, known as Slideways. They will discuss Marion County Courtyard Special Event Application for Iowa Flag Day Volunteer Committee – March 29. The board will discuss a Public Hearing on a Proposed Adkins Urban Renewal Plan for a Proposed Urban Renewal Area in Marion County and discuss the VA Campus Lot Pricing.
