Indianola’s Drew Kingery and Brayden Drea, along with Norwalk’s Redek Born, were honored by the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association this week as they were named to the IPSWA All-State Basketball teams.
Drew Kingery and Redek Born were named to the class 4A 1st Team. Kingery, a senior, averaged 16.8 points per game and 6.6 rebounds as he helped lead Indianola to a 19-3 record and a Little Hawkeye Conference championship. Born led the conference in scoring at 18.6 points per contest, and was part of a Norwalk run to the class 4A state tournament in his junior season.
Indians senior Brayden Drea was awarded 3rd Team honors. Drea averaged 14.3 points per game while shooting 45.9% from three-point range.
