The Indianola girls track and field team heads to Pella today to compete at the Central College Indoor Track and Field Meet today.
The Indians had competitors at the opening meet at Wartburg, posting several top times against some of the best in the state including Josie McGraw with a 4th place finish in the 60m Hurdles, and the Shuttle Hurdle team of Sully Downey, Madison Rogers, Keela Matthias, and McGraw earned an 8th place finish.
Head coach Morgan Singleton said this early in the season she is just looking for the athletes to get good experience and competition rather than faster times, and sets the floor of what they can improve on as the outdoor season begins.
The meet starts at 11am.
