Added depth with the addition of 17 girls out for track and field at Melcher-Dallas has given Coach Amy Stuart options especially in relay events. Stuart tells KNIA Sports many of her younger runners all likely will be in relay events with the more experienced runners in the open events.

Stuart: “I think that will be a great help with our incoming freshmen, with relay events. I don’t know if we will have anyone that will be able to contend for an event in conference or districts, but I think we will have events that can score points.”

The Saints first meet of the outdoor season will be April 4th at Meskwaki Settlement.
