Knoxville Airport Manager, Katie Shawver tells KNIA/KRLS News that the facility will be holding an air show during the month of September.

Shawver said, “Knoxville Aviation will present one of the largest air shows in the state of Iowa. It will be in conjunction with Fly Iowa.”

Shawver added they will invite all pilots across the state to fly into Knoxville. They will also have three performers that perform at some of the largest air shows in the world. 

They also hope to have a special band join the program at the end of the day.
